Hamish & Andy’s comedy podcast celebrates major milestone

The popular comedy podcast from Hamish Blake and Andy Lee just hit a new milestone.

The former top-rating radio duo clock 100 episodes of their Hamish & Andy podcast today.

Since ending up their Drive show on the Hit Network, Hamish & Andy’s podcast has consistently topped lists of the most-listened-to podcasts in Australia.

Blake and Lee have been consistent regulars at the top of Commercial Radio Australia’s monthly Podcast Ranker since October 2019 and across Apple and Spotify.

“While we’ve always said we’d save the fireworks show for the millionth episode, it’s nice to be on the way!” they said in a joint statement.

Southern Cross Austereo recently extended its deal between the pair and PodcastOne Australia, which multiple insiders tell Radio Today is worth “about $1 million each” to both Blake and Lee.

“It is great to see Hamish & Andy maintain their spot as Australia’s number one comedy podcast and to celebrate 100 episodes,” SCA podcasting boss Grant Tothill said.

“They really are the benchmark when it comes to how they approach their podcast series.

“For those that haven’t listened, now’s the time. Start at episode one and listen all the way through to the 100th episode.”
