Hamish Blake chats never having to do Breakfast radio on The Daily Talk Show

Josh Janssen and Tommy Jackett feature Hamish Blake on episode 100 of their podcast The Daily Talk Show.

On the century edition, Hamish chats about his early career through to the present day with the Hamish and Andy podcast, covering topics creativity to business, life and relationships.

He also covers the art of making jokes off the cuff that has contributed so much to the success of Hamish and Andy.

“We’re not pushing that many envelopes,” he says. “Our show, we’re just trying to make people have a fun time. Or to have a fun time and hope that people join in.”

He then moves on to chatting about never having to do Breakfast radio

“We were so lucky. All the money and prestige, allegedly, is in Breakfast radio, but so is getting up early and having to talk about shit that you don’t want to talk about.”
