Heidi Anderson departs Hit92.9 Breakfast

Former Assistant Editor
Hit Network, SCA

Hit92.9 Breakfast is undergoing another shake-up, with long-time host Heidi Anderson revealing she won’t return to the show in 2020.

Anderson has spent six years on the show, but after taking time off since September for the birth of her child, she’s decided to spend more time with her family next year.

She’s the second host to leave the show this year, after Ryan Jon departed the station in July and was replaced by Pete Curulli.

Hit92.9 has revealed Anderson’s fill-in Juelz Jarry will take on the role full-time in 2020 alongside Xavier Ellis and Pete Curulli.

“Motherhood, much like radio, is a role Heidi was born for. I know just how much she was torn over her decision, but if you’ve met beautiful Memphis, you’ll understand!

“That we have someone proven with Xavier & Pete waiting in the wings is the best luck – I love rewarding great people who are great at their jobs and no one deserves this permanent call up more than Juelz.”

Heidi started at Hit92.9 in 2013, having spent time at regional radio stations in Bathurst, Bunbury and Newcastle. She appeared as a housemate on Big Brother Australia 10.

Hit92.9’s new Brekfast show with Juelz, Xavier & Pete kicks off Monday, January 13 2020.
