Southern Cross Austereo’s Hit90.9 will reveal a new co-host to join Dan Anstey and Ben Hannant on Monday (July 27), with hype building on who is set to join them for Breakfast.

After a year as part of the Brekkie Crew, SCA this month revealed the departure of Lise Carlaw and Sarah Wills who will instead focus on their national Hit Network early breakfast show.

In a video shared on the station’s Facebook page on Wednesday, content director Ali Longhurst joined Anstey and Hannant in the studio to play some audio containing cryptic clues.

The voiceover – which sounded eerily similar to the fugitive imaging – explains “times are changing at Hit90.9. Five days ago, the breakfast team were cut in half.

An SCA spokesperson tells Radio Today the new announcer will be revealed live on-air at 8am on Monday, with plans in place to livestream the announcement on Facebook.
