Hit105 give away a home valued at over $465K
The team at Hit105 Brisbane have changed a young couple’s life forever by giving away a brand new Villa World home.
The home was awarded to Riqui and John this morning, after 10 weeks of the contest.
Aussie singer-songwriter Conrad Sewell was on hand for a performance at the event, with Stav, Abby & Matt running the final contest.
Riqui, who is renting with her boyfriend and studying full-time, was one of five finalists given the key to the front door
“I never imagined myself owning a house,” she said, stepping up to the front door.
“I’ve got that much debt in student loans…”
The key worked, and the tears began to flow between both Riqui and the hosts.

I hate Hit105 as much as the next person, but giving away a house is a bit more next level than a run of the mill $20k comp on 973. Only by $425,000, but still.
And btw credit where credit is due, the ob looked pretty awesome.
What a relief, to run a big competition that doesn’t end in a prize 1/100th of the selling point
Liam even if they were biased mate (they’re not) you’d have to say 465k trumps 20k most days of the week you’d reckon aye big fella?
