Hit105 & Nova have most music crossover in Brisbane

Brisbane and the Gold Coast are two of the most tightly contested markets in Australia when it comes to ratings.

Now, the extent to which the major stations in each market are playing the same music has been revealed, thanks to the latest data dive by Aircheck.

The latest spin report for the past four weeks found that in Brisbane, the biggest music crossover came between Hit105 and Nova 106.9, who shared 37.6% of their playlist.

603 songs were shared by both stations, and ‘Walk Me Home’ by P!NK was the most spun.

On the Gold Coast, Hot Tomato shares and 90.9 Sea FM shared the most music (25.5%), closely followed by Hot Tomato and 92.5 Gold FM (23.8%).

Once again, P!NK’s latest cut was the most spun track.
