Hit107’s Amos, Cat and Angus get the Hard Chat treatment from Tom Gleeson

Hit107 Breakfast presenters Amos, Cat and Angus have added insult to injury to their recent axing by having comedian Tom Gleeson on the show to give them the full Hard Chat treatment.

Gleeson held nothing back on the trio, targeting their love lives, Cat’s personal life and, of course, taking them to task over the recent cancellation of the show.

“What’s it like to run a station into the ground?” Gleeson asked before twisting the knife with, “Why did your unique blend of a blokey comedian, a jock and any old chick not work?”

The comedian also took aim at Amos’ recent announcement that he’s making the move to LA to pursue his stand up comedy career.

“Amos, you are currently a medium sized fish in a tiny pond,” Gleeson said. “What’s it going to be like when you get to LA and no one gives a shit?”

Angus revealed in a Facebook post that he will be staying with the Hit network in 2019 in some capacity while Cat has said she’ll go travelling.

The brutal roasting marked the trio’s final show with Hit107 getting a new Breakfast team of Bec and Cosi from 2019.

Angus thanked the team for his time in Adelaide on Facebook today.

“It’s not a team, it’s a family!” he said.

“Thank you for having me back home the past 2 years Adelaide.”
