Hit92.9 & Nova 93.7 have greatest playlist crossover in Perth

Aircheck’s latest data dive looks into the markets of Perth and Adelaide, analysing the crossover in playlists in both cities.

It found that Perth’s two CHR stations Hit92.9 and Nova 93.7 had the greatest crossover, sharing 40.8% of their playlist.

The most played track between the two was Miley Cyrus and Mark Ronson‘s ‘Nothing Breaks Like A Heart’, which is also currently the #1 single on the TMN Hot 100 Airplay Chart.

Competitors Mix94.5 and 96FM shared a large amount of their more AC-leaning playlists, spinning 39.7% of the same tracks.

Aircheck also found that Mix94.5 played the widest variety of music.

Looking at Adelaide, the greatest crossover once again came between Hit and Nova, who shared almost a quarter of their playlist.

Perhaps surprisingly, Mix 102.3 and Triple M Adelaide only shared 13.6% of their music.
