DM Podcasts launches share-house confessional podcast, Housewarming

Dead plants, dodgy landlords, pillow-pooping pets, and housemates who never flush are all on the table as Diamantina Media’s DM Podcasts launches the Housewarming podcast.

The podcast launched this week and is hosted by Marty Smiley and Nat Damena, who “like many other Millennials/ Zoomers… may never own a house”.

The duo are “destined for a lifetime of shared living, which means years to come of dodgy landlords, no long-term lease security, boxes that never get unpacked, stoves that don’t spark, lights that don’t light, weevils in the Weet-Bix, and cockroach colonies in the bathroom”, publicity for the podcast said.

It’s hosted in a Sydney share house in Newtown and each week will explore a different aspect of housemate etiquette with fellow renters including Nina Oyama, Becky Lucas, Cam James, Lucinda ‘Froomes’ Price, The Betoota Advocate, Jenna Owen (Freudian Nip), Cam Walker (Struthless) and more.

“Together, boundaries will be tested, secrets uncovered, and mysteries will be solved,” DM Podcasts said.
