Jackie O misquote causes book recall

PR mogul Roxy Jacenko‘s has experienced a bit of a PR disaster, with her new book having to be pulled from the shelves after it included a misquote from KIIS FM‘s Jackie O.

Jackenko is a friend of The Kyle and Jackie O Show, and Jackie O gave her a quote to published in her book ‘Roxy’s Little Black Book Of Tips & Tricks’.

It appears something got lost in translation though.

The quote was intended to say: “Roxy never fails to deliver” but instead was printed as “Roxy never fails to disappoint”.

“If you analyse it, it basically is saying that all Roxy does is disappoint me in my life,” said Jackie O yesterday.

“They’ve recalled all the books because of that quote,” she continued. “I definitely said, ‘Roxy never fails to deliver’…

“The publishers have put their hands up and said it had nothing to do with Roxy, it had nothing to do with me and it was all their fault and that they’ve recalled it.”
