Jane Kennedy sings for drought relief

Triple M’s Jane Kennedy has lent her support for “Drought Breakers” – the campaign to raise money for drought-affected farming communities across the country.

And she’s done it in a unique way, joining Scott Darlow and Sarah McLeod on vocals in the Kennedy Molloy studio on Dragon’s 1984 hit ‘Rain’.

Released in September, the cover has spent time at the top of the iTunes rock charts. All proceeds from the sale have gone to the “Buy-a-Bale” drought relief charity, which has already delivered thousands of bales of hay.

Listen here to Jane’s musical efforts.

The cover of the Dragon classic was dreamed up by Triple M’s Head of Content, Mike ‘Fitzy’ Fitzpatrick who wanted to help the farming community.

It features Scott Darlow, Sarah McLeod, Adam Brand, Jack Jones and Dragon’s Todd Hunter.
