Within this newly created role, the Voice Tech Content Editor will join SCA’s Audio on Demand News Delivery team and will be responsible for curating and publishing both timely and timeless content for voice tech dashboards and other digital audio platforms. This position requires a journalistic approach to fact checking, diarised content management and a polished voice delivery.
We are looking for someone who can work under pressure, to tight deadlines and have the creative capability to research, write and edit voice content for applications across SCA. As a member of the National News Team, you will also be required to aid the newsroom across a variety of shifts, identifying and creating compelling targeted news and information content for SCA’s On Air and Digital News platforms.
As the winning candidate, you must:
Have strong experience delivering News and Content on-air, adopting a range of styles, tools, and techniques appropriate to the audience and nature of the information
Have a creative flair and the ability to write compelling and timely news for online platforms
Have experience curating locally relevant, events-based content
Be able to adopt your style to create brand-relevant content
Be able to multitask, work to tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure
Possess first-class verbal and written communication skills
Be able to work cooperatively with multiple teams from audio, visual, talent and national news
Have exceptional time management and organisational skills
Possess a degree qualification in Journalism, Communications, or Media (desirable) and significant paid significance within a similar role
