John Bleby has left Australian Radio Network, having spent almost two years as Breakfast content manager and anchor of the Jodie & Soda show in Adelaide.

ARN confirmed the news to Radio Today in a statement on Tuesday (December 3).

“Following a restructure of the Mix 102.3 Breakfast Show’s off-air team John Bleby has left the business,” said a company spokesperson.

“ARN thank him for his professionalism and contribution to the team. We will share more details about the Mix 102.3 team in coming weeks.”

Bleby first joined ARN in 2017 as the EP of Gold FM’s Jo & Lehmo Breakfast show.

After spending time as a consultant at 1116 SEN, he returned to ARN and has worked on the Jodie & Soda Breakfast show at Mix 102.3 since March 2018.

Prior to that, Bleby spent 18 years at Southern Cross Austereo/Austereo including content director at SAFM & Triple M Adelaide.

His departure comes almost six months after Barry Keohane replaced Tony Aldridge as content director of ARN’s Mix 102.3 and Cruise 1323.

It’s the latest in a string of staffing changes across major radio networks this week.

Matt Tilley departs Nova 100 after just seven months as the station’s Mornings announcer, while SCA today revealed up to 90 roles will be made redundant across the country.
