Kerri-Anne Kennerley convinces Radio Chaser’s Charles Firth to give out real phone number live on TV

Former Assistant Editor

Studio 10 host Kerri-Anne Kennerley has exacted revenge on Radio Chaser‘s Charles Firth, convincing the comedian and radio host to display his real phone number live on the show.

Firth appeared on the show to chat about The Chaser’s overnight stunt, where they drove around Sydney displaying Alan Jones‘ phone number with a projector on various landmarks.

The fallout from Alan Jones’ interview with Sydney Opera House CEO Louise Heron continues to be a veritable treasure trove for media content, with the latest fallout ending in a heated stoush between Firth and Kennelley on Studio 10.

“I think it’s very clever what you did for your show, but the number? I think that was too far,” said Kennerley.

She then prompted Firth to give out his phone number and held it up to the camera.

By the end of the chat, Firth admitted he may have made a mistake.

The prank still appears to be making waves, as this afternoon it was announced that the barrier draw for The Everest will no longer take place tonight on the Opera House sails after the event was ruled to be a security risk.

On Triple M’s Radio Chaser this afternoon, Firth revealed that his phone has been ringing off the hook all afternoon.

The boys also played back some of the voicemails that have been left throughout the day, and even tried to call back some of the more abusive callers:
