Kerrie Turner resigns from Mix 102.3 and Cruise 1323

Staff Writer

Drive newsreader across Cruise 1323 and Mix 102.3, Kerrie Turner, is leaving her position.

Turner has been with Australian Radio Network (ARN) for almost a decade and has worked out of both the Adelaide and Melbourne newsrooms.

In addition to her newsreading responsibilities, Turner is also a senior journalist at the organisation.

Throughout her carer, she’s also worked in newsrooms across NOVA Entertainment (then DMG Radio), Southern Cross Austereo (SCA) and Power FM.

Now, however, Turner said it’s time to focus on her family.

“I’ve made the decision to shift my focus to my young family, as well as my growing business in 2021 and I finish up this Friday, having enjoyed almost 10 years with the Australian Radio Network, and more than 20 years in the radio industry,” she said in a note sent around today.

Since July 2018, Turner has also acted as a marriage celebrant and run kt weddings.

Turner and ARN have been approached for further comment.
