Kyle & Jackie O executive producer Bruno Bouchet leaves KIIS 106.5
Bruno Bouchet won’t return to The Kyle and Jackie O Show in 2019.
Bouchet has spent two years as the show’s executive producer, and ARN has confirmed he’s chosen not to renew his contract.
“After two years as executive producer on The Kyle & Jackie O Show, Bruno’s contract has come to an end and he’s chosen not to renew it,” said a spokesperson for ARN.
“Breakfast radio hours are intense and after two years of 2am alarms and long days, he’s trading that in to spend more time with his young family and is moving on to a new role outside of radio.
“In the coming week, we’re excited to be announcing the new executive producer to work with Kyle, Jackie and the KIIS team.”
His departure comes just a few short weeks after accepting the ACRA for Best Show (Metro FM) on behalf of Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O Henderson who were not in attendance.
ARN has confirmed Bouchet will see out the remainder of the year, but won’t be returning in 2019.
He is the third EP to serve on the show in the past five years, following stints by Simon Greally and Nic McClure.
K&J show regular Sam Dastyari has already paid tribute to Bouchet on Twitter.
I’ve worked for Prime Ministers, Premiers and a bunch of Australia’s biggest CEOs. None as talented as @brunobbouchet the EP of #KJSHOW . To put together 3 hours of radio every single day and nail the ratings is no small feat. He’s a ⭐️ . pic.twitter.com/KNM1CoqTB4
