Kyle Sandilands’ sangria range wins BWS competition
Kyle Sandilands has taken out a BWS competition which aimed to champion local alcohol producers and give them a coveted spot on the stores’ shelves.
Sandilands mounted a campaign to win the competition for his Nueva Sangria using his platform and profile to get ahead.
Now that it’s proven successful, the product will be stocked on BWS shelves.
Former Married At First Sight star Dean Wells had tried to derail Sandilands’ campaign, and instead get his Little Ripples brand into BWS stores.
“Bloody Kyle Sandilands is stepping on the little guy once again,” Wells said, noting Sandilands’ immense existing platform and wealth.
“I don’t know about you, but I think Kyle might already have enough Rolls Royces. Whereas, if you vote for Little Ripples, you’re actually helping underprivileged kids get access to clean water. I mean the bloke gets paid like $1 million a week just to talk shit on the radio.
“Kyle, you’re a legend, we love you mate, but do you really need any more help?
“What even is sangria? Just taking red wine and putting some fruit in it.”
Neuva Sangria won in the NSW wine category.
Thanks for the pic of Kyle Sandilands outside BWS. I hadn’t realised how much alike he and Phillip Adams are …. except only one of them is clever. And only one of them is worth listening to. And PA is 80
