Larry Emdur: The House of Wellness

Macquarie Media are launching a new national health and wellness program, The House of Wellness, fronted by TV talent Larry Emdur.

The one hour weekly health program is positioned as  “Get Well, Stay Well, Live Well and Look Great” and will go out on 2GB Sydney, 3AW Melbourne, 4BC Brisbane, FIVEaa Adelaide and 6PR Perth. It will also be streamed online via the station websites and mobile apps.

Larry Emdur, who embarked on a gruelling fitness campaign as he approached 50 and was the winner of Men’s Health ‘Celebrity Man of 2015’; will be joined by line-up of celebrity co-hosts including PT Michelle Bridges, Olympic gold medallist and world champion swimmer Giaan Rooney and former Getaway host Kelly Landry.

I am delighted that our partnership with Chemist Warehouse has created the first ever broadly appealing, and brand-funded, health and wellness radio program which we’ll broadcast across our national network of capital city radio stations”, said Russell Tate Executive Chairman of Macquarie Media.

Planning for the show commenced in the back half of 2015 when Chemist Warehouse wanted to extend their House of Wellness media brand into a Radio Show. Working closely with the Chemist Warehouse agency, Quattro Group, Macquarie Media recruited the talent and provided a platform across the country on a Sunday morning.
