Liam Stapleton stars in Hottest 100 true crime trailer

triple j‘s Hottest 100 just is as well-known for the movie-style trailer that’s released when voting opens as it is for the actual countdown itself.

To that end, this year’s much-anticipated trailer was released yesterday, and topically features Brekky presenter Liam Stapleton at the centre of a true crime scandal.

The crime? Forgetting to vote in the Hottest 100.

The trailer also features his fellow co-host Ben Harvey and Drive presenters Veronica & Lewis.

There’s also some fantastic cameos by Client Liaison as Liam’s lawyers, Vance Joy and Ball Park Music’s Sam Cromack as witnesses, as well as Charli XCX, Vera Blue, Amy Shark, Murph from The Wombats, and heaps more.
