Staff Writer

Meshel Laurie and Emily Webb have benefitted from the popularity of true crime podcasts in Australia, with their own podcast hitting a milestone.

Australian True Crime goes behind the news cycle “to find out how people become victims and what happens next”, and last week it hit 10 million listens.

It’s hosted by radio broadcaster and author Laurie, and journalist and crime writer Webb, who together make a formidable team.

The duo took to Facebook to thank all of their listeners.

“We’ve hit 10 million listens! Of course, we couldn’t have done it without all you wonderful listeners. THANK YOU!”
