Monique Taylor joins ACE
The Albury ACE Radio News Team has announced the welcome addition of Monique Taylor as Ace Group News Director.
Monique boasts 23 years in radio news and has covered some of the biggest stories of the decade, including the COVID pandemic, Black Summer Bushfires, Black Saturday, the Bali Bombings and the September 11 attacks.
Monique has spent the past 16 years working for Southern Cross Austereo in Albury managing journalists across NSW, VIC, SA and TAS while extensively liaising with Content Directors and General Managers.
ACE Group Content Director, Mat Cummins, said: “Monique brings to ACE a wealth of leadership experience when it comes to developing journalists and regulatory compliance (ACMA), as well as being an extremely passionate and talented journalist.”
“Monique will work closely with all journalists and news contributors across the news team and we are all delighted that she has joined the ACE Radio family.”
This comes not long after the announcement of ACE Radio Network signing and option to operate Nine Radio’s music stations 2UE, 4BH and Magic1278.
Leasing or liaising?
Liaising of course! Sorry about that, thanks for the eagle eyes Spellchecker 🙂
Monique is an awesome operator. Sadly – the same old SCA story: loyal, highly experienced and highly underpaid. This is a massive gain for the ACE family.
