Australian Radio Network continues to expand its podcast offering.

Just one episode in and Ordineroli Speaking is already #1 on Apple Podcast’s sports category.

The new Neroli Meadows-fronted series, via ARN’s iHeartPodcast Network Australia, hopes to offer listeners a unique insight into resilience in sport.

The podcast uncovers the human stories behind the athletes and has shot straight to the #1 following last week’s debut episode featuring Aussie Rules star Adam Treloar.

“I want to help share the human stories behind the stars,” says Meadows.

“Sportspeople are relatable and I find when you give them a safe space to let their guard down, they have some pretty important things to say.

“Ordineroli Speaking features compelling stories of athletes acknowledging they weren’t coping, trying to get over the feeling of failure – some are coming to terms with tragedy.

“A lot of the athletes are speaking up because they want to help other people who have been through something similar.”

With 30 million Australian impressions across its podcasts, ARN believes there is “significant scale” and “opportunity for local advertisers” through the new service.

The move follows ARN’s announcement in October 2019 that it had secured exclusive sales representation for all Australian downloads of the iHeartPodcast Network.

“ARN’s iHeartPodcast Network Australia’s partnership with Neroli Meadows demonstrates our commitment to help listeners discover the best local content,” says Corey Layton, ARN’s commercial product and audio partnerships director.
