Nova’s Dean Thomas secures funding for ‘Childish Deano’ animated series

Chrissie, Sam & Browny anchor Dean ‘Deano’ Thomas has received funding from Screen Australia for his animated TV series Childish Deano.

Childish Deano is an animated comedy about an 8-year-old boy with a grown man’s voice and heart of gold, navigating the politics of a small town school yard.

Deano and his mate Dave Ferrier released a test episode of the series last year on the Chrissy, Sam & Browny Facebook page.

In addition, the latest episode of Deano’s Footy Show was released on Nova 100 Breakfast this morning, featuring Carlton football club legend Anthony Koutoufides (Kouta).
