Pacific Star Results

Pacific Star Network, the company behind Melbourne sports radio SEN 1116 and music station 1377MyMP and a couple of DAB+ brands Aussie, Kool and Rythmos; released their results.

For their radio and print assets, the combined revenue was up 15% to $23.98 million.

Radio contributed $14.49 million to the bottom line, up 100k year on year. Combined Net profit after tax was $1.09m after a loss of $79,000 last fin year.

The company recently appointed Cathy Thomas to run the radio division and the board will be waiting now to see if they are awarded AFL rights for a further six years.

That should be announced next Tuesday.
