Grant Broadcasters’ Hitz 93.9 remains the #1 station in Bundaberg, with the region’s latest Survey results released today.

Of survey respondents aged 10+, Hitz was listened to most by 25.1% (-3.5).

Southern Cross Austereo‘s recently rebranded Triple M 93.1 Bundy (previously SEA 93.1) gained listeners, as the 23.9% most listened to station (+5.6).

Hitz Brekky duo Matty & Trace also retained top spot despite a fall, finishing with 25.7% (-2.9), ahead of Triple M’s new duo Amber and Nik with 23.2% (+4.1) whose show launched in July.

“To achieve results like today’s three years in a row only comes from a team that work hard to listen to the wants and needs of our listeners and
clients,” said Hitz general manager Naomi Edwards.

“Personally I’d like to thank my staff for their hard work and
continued dedication.”

“In our first survey since the rebrand to Triple M we have seen outstanding results,” said SCA Bundaberg GM Nicholas Purdie.

“Our Breakfast show with Nik and Amber has seen an increase of 1,400 listeners and there has been growth right across the day.

“I am extremely proud of the Bundaberg team with everything they have accomplished in the last 12 months.”

Xtra Insights conducted the latest Bundaberg survey between August 27 and September 15, 2018.

It’s the first survey in the area since July 2017.

As with Xtra Insights other regional surveys, the results do not produce a traditional share figure, but rather on the stations most listened to.
