Radio Today Tonight podcast launches on Apple and Spotify
“Don’t launch a podcast”, they said. “Everyone’s had an earful”, they said. “The pandemic is bad enough.”
Despite the vocal cries from an industry, and a world, besieged by podcasts, Radio Today has launched a new podcast discussing, unsurprisingly, all things radio.
Radio Today Tonight will come to you each Thursday, mixing the biggest news of the week, along with a discussion of all the personalities, politics and pressures involved in the industry.
It will be jointly hosted by Radio Today editor Vivienne Kelly and publisher Jake Challenor.
This week’s discussion covers everything from where Marty Sheargold will end up now that he’s left Nova, to what’s going on at iHeartRadio. There’s also discussion of how Joel Creasey went on his debut, and the radio networks’ attempts to get back to the office (and full pay).
