Ronnie Stanton returns to Australia with Grant Broadcasters

Former Assistant Editor

Grant Broadcasters has announced that Ronnie Stanton is returning to Australia.

Stanton, a columnist for Radio Today who left Australia in 2008, will take on the role of regional content director for Queensland and the Northern Territory at GB.

The experienced radio head brings a decade of experience in roles at various stations and in multi-format executive roles in the USA and Canada – as well as years of work prior to that in Australia at k Rock Geelong, Nova 100 and more.

Stanton returns to the Sunshine Coast, where he will set up a base at the studios of Hot 91.1 and Zinc96.1, and will start his new role midway through May.

“It will be nice to be home. I have learned much in my decade long overseas adventure and I’m very excited to work with the passionate team at Grant Broadcasters,” said Ronnie.

“We’re going to make some beautiful radio together,” he says.

He previously hosted the Chrissie and Ronnie Breakfast show with Chrissie Swan, and led the team as content director for two years.
