Hit92.9’s Ryan Jon runs 3,400km for his wedding proposal

Hit Perth radio host Ryan Jon has developed a reputation for powerful story arcs, both on radio and social media.

His latest effort sees Ryan share the intimate moment of proposing to his girlfriend Bridgette Rodda.

Ryan shared a 7-minute clip documenting the process of “running” across the Nullabor to surprise his long-distance girlfriend at her work in Victoria.

“It’s been really hard and we’ve struggled at times, but I’m not going to let the 3,400km between us stop me from proposing,” he said.

Bridget clearly appreciate the gesture, and said yes, against the backdrop of a gorgeous vineyard.

“When we first met all of our friends thought there was a spark right away,” he said.

“I think we are the happiest when we are together, and I want to be together with you forever.”
