Sam Dastyari fills in on Triple M’s The Night Shift
Disgraced former Labor politician Sam Dastyari has been given a two-week crack at hosting his own radio show, with SCA bringing him on as a fill-in for Luke Bona.
Sam is broadcasting Triple M’s national show The Night Shift.
A spokesperson for SCA confirmed to Radio Today that he is just filling in while Luke takes a break.
“I know how much people love politicians on this show,” said Sam during his first break.
“I can assure you I hate myself too, which works very, very well.
“We don’t have Luke with us… You’re meant to be on holiday at the moment. Luke, use these two weeks to get some sleep.
“In what will be a decision that Triple M will no doubt live to regret, they decided they were foolish and dumb enough to give me the reins of Luke’s show.”
No stranger to radio, Dastyari presents a segment called ‘Gutter Politics’ on KIIS FM’s Kyle and Jackie O show where he takes listeners behind the inner workings of Australian politics.

This sounds like community radio
Bad man….Dastyari is a bad man…the night shift has been tainted this week…sorry Luke but you need to align yourself with more likeable personalaties…he brought the show down in my opinion….I have trouble sleeping and your show keeps me sane…sadly I had to switch off at times. Hope you had a nice break.

I’ve been listening to past programs
Dear God – Please tell me this is not happening.
Ahhhh yes there is that supportive radio spirit that we have come to love. It’s like the radio green room in here.
Why are Triple M borrowing talent from KIIS. And I use the word talent very loosely.
Another fail from Triple M Sydney
Triple M have lost the plot. Sam can go back to KIISFM.
