SCA announce digital news editor

Daily Mail Australia deputy editor Sarah Michael has been appointed national digital news editor at SCA.

According to the network, this newly created Sydney-based role is “a commercial radio first”.

Sarah has extensive experience in managing newsrooms in an online environment and will be responsible for creating a digital news strategy and workflow for SCA’s metro newsrooms around Australia when she begins in May.

SCA’s chief creative officer Guy Dobson said, “It’s an exciting time for SCA News as we invent how news is deployed on-air and online going forward.”

Sarah is also tasked with identifying the tools needed to become market leaders in the digital news space.
