Southern Cross Austereo‘s annual Give Me Five for Kids fundraiser has entered its 25th year.

It launches next month, with Shelley Craft, Trent Hodkinson and Kat Springer on board as celebrity ambassadors.

Give Me Five for Kids has raised over $25.9 million for kids in hospital, paediatric hospital wards and other child health-related charities throughout SCA’s 38 regional markets.

This year Southern Cross Austereo’s annual target is $3.7 million.

“I am so excited and proud to be an official ambassador for Give Me 5 For Kids 2019,” said 2019 ambassador Shelly Craft.

“It’s a great initiative which not only supports sick kids but aims to help their families and the hospitals to make a big difference in their lives.”

“We are constantly amazed by the kindness of the community each year and would like to thank them for always digging deep and supporting this very worthy cause,” added Give Me 5 For Kids director and SCA chief operating officer John Kelly.

“To see the program grow from a simple coin drive on the NSW Central Coast in the 1990s into a national annual event benefiting more than 40 paediatric wards in local community hospitals across Australia is truly remarkable.”
