SENTrack signs Miles Pfitzner and retains David Taggart

SENTrack has signed Miles Pfitzner as a permanent member of the broadcast team and re-signed David Taggart.

The broadcaster said it had “warded off mass industry interest in the racing free agent game” to retain Taggart, and that its audience had been lobbying for weeks for it to secure Pfitzner.

New recruit Pfitzner will host Trackside and also take up AFL and sport-calling duties for the broader SEN network.

SENTrack content manager, Julian Bayard, noted the power of the duo, who have been dubbed the ‘A-Team’ for their successes in tipping the form horses.

“People power has spoken – whenever Miles is on-air, he sets the SMS machine alight – which probably has something to do with his track record since joining SENTrack last year, for backing winner after winner,” she said.

“And we are rapt that Taggart has accepted the long-term ride at SENTrack. He was sought-after across racing circles around the world on the back of his first-year success, and while we have stopped short of promising him the statue that he has been lobbying for, we are thrilled to commit to him as a key part of our future.”

Pfitzner thanked the audience for their support, which he said had been overwhelming.

“Being on SENTrack is an absolute laugh so I’m pretty chuffed to be signing on full-time,” he said. “Thanks mum and dad for texting in every weekend – here’s hoping I can continue to back winners.

“It’s great to create some fun each day and connect with the audience, and I can’t thank the SENTrack family enough for welcoming me.”
