Shawn Mendes’ intimate Red Room LA Edition for Nova listeners

Nova’s Red Room LA Edition went down this week with an intimate performance by Shawn Mendes.

The performance was attended by lucky Nova listeners, as well as broadcast into Australia live across the Nova Network.

The concert came as Shawn announced his Australian tour, which will see him touch down under this October.

After the gig Nova’s Red Room LA Edition winners were treated to a special opportunity – a meet and greet with Shawn.

Following the performance, Shawn also chatted with Nova Nights host Smallzy.

“We have done a bunch of Red Rooms with artists, you’ve done it before but there was something about your performance that was like, you gave it like it was an arena of 15,000 thousand people particularly in ‘There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back'” said Smallzy.

“It would be very easy to be like feet up, swan in.”

“You have to,” said Shawn.

“If you can’t give yourself a reason to treat that like an arena, then I don’t think you deserved to be doing arenas.”
