smoothfm add Lady Antebellum to weekends

smoothfm have announced that country/pop act Lady Antebellum will join the weekend lineup from this Sunday, 29 March.

Whilst Lady Antebellum have had just the one major hit in Australia and New Zealand (Need you now), their last four albums have gone top 10 in Australia, and in the US they are genuine superstars with seven Grammy Awards to their name.

Lady Antebellum commented:

“We are just so thankful for the opportunity to share some of our favourite songs, play some of our own plus and connect with our fans on smooth. You have great taste in music if you’re listening to smoothfm.”

Paul Jackson, Group Program Director for NOVA Entertainment, said: 

“Need You Now is one of our listeners’ favourite songs, we love these guys. Their song Golden provided the soundtrack to one of smooth’s commercials so it’s only fitting they return to host their own show.”

The Lady Antebellum weekend show will be heard from 4pm this Sunday on smoothfm in Sydney and Melbourne, and nationally on smooth DAB+.
