Gemma Fordham: “The worst thing you can do is keep moving the goal posts”

Hit Network Head of Content Gemma Fordham just got off her flight from Europe – “To get five markets up … that’s never happened to me before”.

Gemma is also “well aware” that Survey #7’s results isn’t where she wants 2Day to be, saying “It is going to be a three year journey….  The board is very realistic of what the targets are and what the plan is

2Day Fm was one of the five markets to increase its share “You’ve got to celebrate the small wins”.and it’s  safe Survey #7’s results would have given all the Hit Network team a nice boost. “so so thrilled with the results and just incredibly proud of the team”.

Push comes to shove in Sydney, it may even mean 2Day FM jumps over its stablemate Triple M in Survey 8 –  “I don’t really care who we are taking over… as long as we are getting nearer up the top”

We also talk about some of the strategy behind the networks results – what has driven FOX FM to be now five points clear of anyone else in Melbourne on FM? And is 2Day still a True CHR format?

And what lies ahead into 2017 for SCA with the HIt Network?  “The worst thing you can do is keep moving the goal posts”
