WATCH: The Kyle & Jackie O Show has a new TVC

Staff Writer

As radio diaries sit on the kitchen bench of Sydneysiders during survey one, recall is everything.

Australian Radio Network has unveiled a new TVC campaign today for its best-performing Breakfast team, The Kyle & Jackie O Show.

The 30-second spot features some of the show’s celebrity guests including Boy George, Katy Perry, Justin Bieber and Nicole Kidman.

The commercial also feature visuals of two key KIIS 106.5 partnerships – the Sydney Road Easter Show (where K&J’s Haunted House is a star attraction) and the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras.

Last week ARN rolled-out a new multi-platform campaign, with assets across outdoor, digital and social.

“This campaign is the next evolution of the KIIS 1065 brand, while staying true to its essence as an irreverent, vibrant and fun station showcasing the best of Sydney and, of course, the home of Sydney’s #1FM Breakfast The Kyle & Jackie O Show,” said ARN chief marketing officer Anthony Xydis.

Today also marks the launch of a new Mix102.3 campaign, featuring Adelaide’s #1FM Breakfast show Jodie & Soda with the positioning “Adelaide’s Fun Breakfast Show”.

The TVC feels like a step backwards TBH.
The KIIS brand is slick and glossy… and this just feels like they ran out of time and money.
If you see this on an actual TV the resolution is so poor and grainy…it’s not stunning.

Lacks innovation. Seen it all before… Nothing new. Yawn. Agree. Next.

Just please don’t copy that awful 2Day FM workday TVC from last year

Smooth is winning hands down! On Point!
