Greg ‘Blewey’ Blewett joins Triple M’s The Rush Hour in Adelaide

Staff Writer

Retired Australian cricketer Greg ‘Blewey’ Blewett has joined the billing of The Rush Hour in Adelaide, alongside his Dead Set Legends co-hosts Andrew Jarman (Jars) and Bernie Vince.

The show will go to air on Triple M Adelaide from 6pm to 7pm on weekdays from Monday.

In addition to his international Test and One-Day cricket career, Blewett has been heard on Triple M’s weekend Dead Set Legends show since 2018 with Jarman and Vince.

Jarman had hosted The Rush Hour with former AFL player Dale Lewis, however he was replaced by Vince, also a former AFL star, last year.

Blewett said it doesn’t get much better than his new appointment.

“I can’t wait to join Bernie and Jars for The Rush Hour this year. I get to talk sport, have a laugh and hang out with a couple of legends,” he said.

His new co-hosts added: “We’re excited to welcome an SA cricket icon to our show. Bernie and I will embrace him with open arms to The Rush Hour team. Let’s hope he has got funnier since I last saw him.”

Triple M Adelaide’s content director Matthew O’Reilly, said the trio had been very successful on-air on Saturday mornings already.

“The show is known for entertaining Adelaide with brilliant chemistry, covering everything important to South Australia in the world of sport,” he said. “It will be great to have them on-air together five days a week.”

I’m sorry but no one will replace the wit and natural humour of Louie. Need 2 guys to fill one role? Interesting….

I can’t listen to MMM rush hour because they keep calling their listeners “family”and that really annoys me.

Car crash radio.

Agree with the ‘family’ Reference.
