Trial By Kyle: Network Ten confirm season one premiere date

Staff Writer

It’s been a long time coming, but the Network Ten has finally revealed its plans to debut season one of Kyle Sandilands’ television vehicle Trial by Kyle.

Viewers were first introduced to the Judge Judy-style show during Ten’s 2018 Pilot Week, which attracted a metro audience of 385,000 metro viewers.

That number ballooned to 520,000 viewers across the country including regional markets.

The show was officially commissioned in October last year.

After sitting on it for the best part of a year, Ten will now air the show from October 24 at 8.30pm, with Sandilands joined by ex-Bachelor winner Anna Heinrich.

Ten has promised a “unique style of justice”, where Sandilands’s rulings are final, with participants signing arbitration agreements.

Sandilands is no stranger to TV. He was a judge on Australian Idol until his 2009 sacking and hosted the final season of Big Brother.

There was also a short stint on Channel 7 with his radio off-sider on Kyle and Jackie O’s Night With The Stars.
