Triple M faces possible lawsuit

Staff Writer

It has been reported on Channel 7 news in Adelaide, and in the Adelaide Advertiser online, that Mix 102.3 Breakfast announcer Jason "Snowy" Carter is considering legal action action against Southern Cross Austereo's Jon Blake over a skit aired on the Triple M Breakfast show this morning.

Today was Blakes first day on Triple M after serving his non-compete period since leaving DMG's 5AA at the end of last year, and already he has caused headlines.

Firstly, through a sketch making fun at his former colleagues at 5AA (listen here), and now over a sketch questioning Carter's sexuality, which Radio Today has chosen not to broadcast.

Speaking to AdelaideNow, Carter said "My barrister has heard it. He thought it was rather damaging".

Carter was reportedly "shattered" when he heard the audio which aired at 6am, and was repeated at 8.30am on Triple M.
