Triple M rebrands Homegrown show as ‘Triple M Aussie’
Triple M has rebranded its national Sunday Nights show, hosted by Chris ‘Becko’ Beckhouse.
Previously known as Homegrown, it will now share the same name as Triple M digital station; Triple M Aussie.
The show will continue to celebrate the best local anthems and tracks from Australia’s biggest albums.
“Triple M has a long history of supporting Australian artists and earlier this year we launched a Triple M Aussie digital station,” said newly installed Triple M head of music Mickey Maher.
“To have a dedicated show, hosted by Becko, along with a dedicated station further highlights our ongoing commitment to showcasing great Aussie music.
“It is not only important to give back to the artists who have helped to shape our music culture, but also those continuing to carry the flame.”
Triple M Aussie airs on Sunday Nights from 8pm-10pm on Triple M Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane and Melbourne.
It is replayed on Wednesdays at 10pm and on Triple M Aussie Digital on Mondays at 9am.
Fascinating
Didn’t realise a name change of an aus music show would be big news. Any publicity is good puclicity
Becko, giving us about 10% of a smile.
The Aussie station is rubbish. Repetitive is an understatement. Heard the same song 4 times in one 8 hour work day.
