Triple M’s Brendan Tacey wins the Iron Imager

The Benztown Iron Imager belt is coming back to Australia with Triple M’s head of production Brendan Tacey taking out the international production competition at WWRS19.

BT pitted his production skills against last year’s winner Sam Wickens of Capital FM London with both men given an hour to create a promo using the same format with the same ‘tools’.

This year, they created a Country format flyaway promo for the ACM Awards in Las Vegas.  The winner was decided in a blind vote with Tacey coming out on top in what was described as one of the best contests.

Brendan isn’t the first Aussie title-holder.  NOVA Entertainment’s Brad Leask was the 2017 winner.
