Troy Sincock resigns as GM of Fresh 92.7

Former Assistant Editor

Troy Sincock has resigned from the position of general manager at Fresh 92.7.

Sincock held the position for 10 years, and will remain at the station in a different role.

‘To be clear, this is a resignation from the role, not the radio station,” he told radioinfo.

“I have been involved at Fresh 92.7 since inception almost 20 years ago. It has been my life, and I am honoured to have been of service to an organisation I love, and who’s values I personally share.”

During his time as the station’s GM, Sincock saw the development of many young people, giving the likes of Ben Harvey and Liam Stapleton (now at triple j), and many more, a start in the industry.

“‘Now in our 20th year it is time for someone else to take the lead and create the future with Fresh,” he said. “I am looking forward to continuing my advocacy for Fresh for the next 20 years.

“I would like to sincerely thank the Board for their support and our passionate and committed volunteers who are the lifeblood of our mighty station.

“Special thanks to our outstanding staff who have stood by me and given their all through both challenging and rewarding times. I want to acknowledge you all for going above and beyond and seeing what’s possible.

“Next, my plans include further developing my business Dave And The Beanstalk (with David Grice) creating podcasts and telling people’s stories, facilitating opportunities for others, and using the skills and experience I have acquired from 26 years in radio in new and exciting ways.

“Thank you for an amazing 10 years as General Manager.”
