Phil O’Neil had to get creative when he couldn’t secure the real Boris Johnson last week.

On his new Ugly Phil Breakfast Show on Fix Radio, O’Neil managed to track down a doppelganger for some hilarious content.

Filmed last Thursday after Johnson became the United Kingdom’s new Prime Minister, the video features 10 shocking things that JoBo found left behind at No. 10 Downing Street by former PM Theresa May.

The items included a gimp mask, a pair of May’s nickers and a dartboard sporting Johnson face.

All items were auctioned outside London’s most famous residence, on what was also the hottest July day on record.

O’Neil tells Radio Today that “things are going really well” in his new gig, with lots of room to be creative.

After Southern Cross Austereo confirmed his departure in April, Fix Radio announced that
O’Neil would host its new Breakfast show.

“Great radio stations are built on great talent and Ugly Phil is one of the world’s best,” said Fix FM PD Graham Mack on the announcement.

“It’s brilliant that he’s joining our line-up that also includes Russ and Jono, formerly of Virgin Radio and Clive Holland from BBC TV’s Cowboy Trap.
