Zan Rowe to leave triple j for Double J at year’s end

Former Assistant Editor

Long-term triple j stalwart and current Mornings presenter Zan Rowe will leave the station at the end of 2017.

Rowe won’t be ditching the ABC entirely though, announcing today that she’s set to take the reigns of Mornings on sister station Double J.

“Thirteen years ago, I found my dream job at triple j and for the past ten years I’ve been privileged to be the custodian of the triple j Mornings show,” said Rowe.

“I’m so honoured to have been given the chance to discover and share my favourite music with you guys.

“As I close the door on this chapter, I open the next, and wander down the hallway to our sister station to kick off a brand new Mornings show.

“It’s time for a new dream job and I can’t wait to discover and share the best new music with you on Double J.”

Rowe will also take on a new role as ABC Music Correspondent, delivering artist interviews and more to ABC News Breakfast and ‘The Mix.’

triple j are set to announce their new Mornings presenter this Wednesday December 6.
