Sofia & Wippa 4ever – on a plate

In a story arc lasting over a week on Nova 96.9, the finale of Wippa's efforts to get a date with Modern Family star Sofia Vergara had a sorta successful conclusion last night (no date but a funny chat that included a special gift).

It all started when Wippa sent a video request to Sofia to ask her on a date.

After a few days she responded after seeing it online.

When Sofia arrived at Sydney Airport earlier this week, Sam Mac was there to present her with a rose from Wippa and ask her on the date. She said “yes.. I mean Nooooooo"

Yesterday he had plans to send a plane to write Sofia's name in the sky. That didn't go to plan due to the weather (but we hear it was heading up today).

Then last night, at a media event for Qantas, Wippa got his chance to meet Sofia. But before he chatted to her he needed to get past her fiance.
