Mix listener’s lucky number 5

Rod & Biggzy from Canberra's Mix 106.3 gave one of their listeners $1000 to bet on whatever horse they wanted in this afternoon's Melbourne Cup.

Donna Schwass chose Green Moon based on a series of coincidences around the number five.

"We were sitting at table five at lunch, and my birthday is the fifth of the fifth."

Green Moon started from barrier five and was horse number 14 (1 + 4 = 5).

Donna won $22,500 !!!!!

She said she would use the cash to pay some bills and go on a trip to Thailand with her sister.
