Gold Coast survey 3 released

The third survey for 2012 on the Gold Coast has been released. See the results here.

While Gold FM remain the #1 radio station in the market, the story of the day comes from Hot Tomato who are up 1.1 and are now 0.2 off number 1.

Hot Tomato will be celebrating the fact they are #1 Monday – Friday. Afternoons and Drive are #1 for the station with breakfast, mornings and nights also growing.

They also had growth with 18-24, 25-39, 55+ with a marginal decrease 40-54.

SCA have 2 down stations today, both by 0.2. Gold 15.1% to 14.9% (still #1), Sea FM 12.8% to 12.6% (#3).

Gold demo's bounced around in their core, with lifts 40-54 (up 1.5) and 55-64 (up 5.1) but they were down 4.7 with 65+. Breakfast was down 1.1 (#1), Mornings down 1.4 (#1), afternoons down 1.1 with gains through drive, nights and weekends.

Sea FM are #1 Under 40 despite dropping 8.6 with 10-17's and 3.2 with 18-24's. They did gain 3.2 with 25-39's. Breakfast was slightly down (13.0% to 12.6%), mornings down 1.0, afternoons up 0.6, drive up 0.2 with nights down 1.5 and dropping from 1st to 3rd in the market.

After triple j's 4.2 lift last survey with 18-24's, this survey they dropped 10.1 in that demo. They still remain #2 with 25-39's. Overall they were down 0.4 (9.3% to 8.9%) with afternoons their strongest daypart, recording 11.2% (up 1.1).
