MC & Mel use the prank for more content

With MC & Mel making headlines around the world for their prank call to Kate Middleton's hospital, they are continuing to use it as further content opportunities for their show.

Last night they recorded a voicemail message for Larry Emdur as the Queen, Prince Charles and the Corgi's.

They also recorded a video as a pre-show teaser for their listeners that they have labelled as the 'Royal Prank Confession' (watch it below). The pair talk about what we already know, but we're sure this video will end up on news websites somewhere in the world.

Prince Charles has also come out and commented on the prank saying: "How do you know I'm not a radio station ?" ------ alrighty then.

MC & Mel should be ashamed of themselves, and Southern Cross Austereo deserves to go bankrupt.

My contempt for Southern Cross Austereo, 2Day FM, Rhys Holleran and anyone associated with the company knows no bounds.

I hope every single advertiser pulls their ads from this toxic company.

It was just a little joke it's not like they meant for anything bad to happen it was a joke
Tony(12:48pm 08 Dec 2012)
The problem here, lies not with these vacuous announcers, but with the station "management". They encourage these young announcers to be "edgy" and to "push the boundries" of taste.

It is a tragedy of course, however mc and mel cant be blamed-they were just doing what many radio announcers do-prank calls. And admit it-you have enjoyed a prank call one time or other. Mc and mel couldn't have foreseen what would happen nor can they be . This whole thing has spiralled out of control. :{
