Mel & MC will return ‘when the time is right’

Staff Writer

With news outlets finally reporting on the new SCA night show 'The Bump', many have implied that this must mean Mel Greig and Michael Christian were no longer employed by the network.

SCA have got on the front foot to clear up any confusion.

PR manager Vicki Heath said the duo were still "absolutely employed" by the network, which was "working with them" to determine possible future roles during their continued "stress leave".

In a statement on news.com.au, SCA CEO Rhys Holleran said:

"We look forward to Mel and MC returning to work when the time is right, in roles that make full use of their talents – we will discuss future roles with them when they are ready."

Heath also confirmed 'The Bump' will be produced by former Hot 30 EP Emily Mills and assistant producer Ben Harlum, who played the roles of the corgis in the royal prank.
