Two Brissy stations broadcast side by side

This afternoon, 4BC and 4BH are broadcasting together to help open 'Bee Gees Way' in the Brisbane suburb of Redcliffe.

The 2 stations have the exclusive broadcast rights to present and stream video from the event that will see the unveiling of a Bee Gees statue. Barry Gibb will also be in attendance.

The group were given their first break when 4BH DJ Bill Gates recorded and aired their songs in 1959.

4BC afternoon presenters Moyd Kay and Loretta Ryan and 4BH Breakfast presenter Michael Price, along with Jamie McDonald from their Saturday Night Bandstand show and Steve Barker are currently broadcasting live.

Audio and video streams of the official ceremony at 2pm will be on both 4BH & 4BC websites, mobile apps, and digital radio.
